P38 4.6 starts first time when cold run up to temperature smooth as silk stop shut off engine and she is a pig to start if I leave it for an hour or so starts first time seems to be when the engine is almost at running temp it doesnt start
Any ideas guys

I had a similar problem. It was a faulty injector, I had all the injectors removed cleaned and tested, one was faulty and had to be replaced with an exchange unit. Starts like a dream now.

Changed the engine coolant sensor and it has improved a lot as far as starting goes but still running a bit rough on petrol sometimes so me thinks its an injector as it runs perfect on gas now
Thanks guys

keep it simple and start with changing the petrol fuel filter (which for some reason a lot of you LPG lads never seem to do). will cost you all of about 600 pennies.

not guilty as charged it was changed a month ago - the petrol running is ok on start up and ok when up to temp its the bit inbetween thats odd

um sorry then, no other ideas - i had exactly the same symptoms, had on a pattern fuel filter which clogged very early. changed it to OEM and problem went away.

actually Rasheed I may replace it as I think this is pattern will try new oem Thanks for the pointer
