Wondering whether anyone might give me a pointer with what might be causing the noise in the back of my 110. Normal driving - all ok. When going around a roundabout a 'rubbing' noise comes from the rear. Sounds like the tyre rubbing against the bodywork but it isn't. Doesn't go away if i brake and doesn't make the noise if i go around a bend. Any ideas?

Had a wheel bearing go before, this noise isn't a contant rumble and is on both sides (when I go around a roundabout either way!!!)

I thought maybe a UJ? Like I say the noise isn't constant, when you hear it, it is like a steam train noise...

sometimes wheel bearing just make a noise on hard corners.(before they get real bad) jack up the back, grab hold of a wheel at the 9 o'clock and 3o'clock position and see if you can move it by wiggleing it. then do the other wheel. and what are you doing going round roundabout both ways?? also check yer shocker bushes
