i have a leak but i can't figure out what it is. it sprays on the side of the engine compartment when i'm running but i can't find anything wet under the bonnet. I've cleaned the area and it comes back. its so thin i can't tell what type of fluid it is. any suggestions? it also gets on the heater box. i've ruled out the dipstick tube as well as the CCV. this is my first TD5.

thanks!

As it is getting on both sides of engine, heater box on passenger side and drivers side as in photos, check the half moon seal at rear of rocker cover for leaks, it is a known leak spot, another is the fuel pressure regulator on drivers side but that usually drip downwards and you can tell its diesel.

hi,

its only on the right side of the engine. sorry if the picture looked like it was on both. i'll check the seal. the injector harness was replaced just before i bought the car. thanks

Is your TD5 a left hand drive model, my RHD model has heater box on the other side to EGR vacuum solenoid's and power steering level pot.
