Hi all, following my previous threads ive got most of the eletrics working now, one of the things im stuck on is the stop lights, the tail lights work but the stop dont, theres power getting to the switch on top of the servo and the switch works so i think it might be in the inline fuse but i cant find it can anyone tell me where they are.

The fuel/temp guages also dont work, where should i start looking to fix them?
Cheers

Try checking the fuses under the steering column......

Do you have another switch by the brake pedal?? I have on my series 3, but then again I dont have a servo..

Correct bulbs in the back??

Only the switch is on the servo, the fuses on the steering column are fine, and im pretty sure there the right bulbs.

are the bulbs in the right way round???it has bin known for some real clevva people to put them in wrong

I didnt know they could go in the wrong way, though they light up when u turn the lights on, would that happen if they were in the wrong way?

most folk can't get them in wrong but here are some bright folks that can. so when you put yer tail lights on yer actually using the brake filiment, then you brake and light up the tail filiment which being dimmer dint show up as lighting.. course it could be something else. is you getting power to both contacts in the bulb holders?

Hi all the lights work now, one bulb was duff though it didnt look it, and im not really sure how i fixed it i just poked around the switch and the fuse a bit and they started to work, there must have been a bad connection, thanks for all your help you lot
