On my drive, boxed in by cars, rubbish, spare parts, tractor trailer etc
I have taken a 'Home Alone' style of security - ie anyone would think the landy is boobytrapped..
1..Make your way over the piles of clay that have fallen from underneath the landy since the last off roading.
2..The alarm will almost certainly sound, whether set or not, this is on a random function that wakes every dog in the village. Clciking or unclicking the fob has no effect.
3..Next..open the doors, a gush of water will now emit over your feet, this may wash some of the clay away.
4..Start her up (waiting at least 8 seconds after the glow plug lights have gone out or there will be trouble..) The ensuing clouds of smoke will mean that you must wait for it to settle before starting off.
5..The second audible alarm goes off, this is probably from either the fan belt or the power steering, a high pitched squeal that sounds like foxes going at it.
