Need pics so I can look out for it!
Only had the Landy a couple of weeks and the only photo I can find right now isn't very good and includes teenager! will try to find a better one but in the meanwhile I hope i've loaded this one correctly.

Only had the Landy for a few weeks and hadn't had any additional security fitted as we were deciding what to fit......guess we don't have to worry about that now.

Sorry to hear of your loss.:(

What additional security did you have fitted at the time it was taken?

As said, didn't have it long enough to get any fitted but if we get another could you or anyone else recommend any types? All advice would be welcome.

Where did you buy it from? I'd be suspicious of the seller if it went that soon after selling it...

Number one on my list is a Disklock. I you turn the steering on full lock before fitting, it means that your vehicle can't be driven or flat towed away, Is very hard to load on a flat bed and is also more difficult to load with a crane.

We bought it off a trade seller called PRC Specialist Cars which is based near stockport and he bought it off a bloke in Birmingham, though the registerred keeper was in Taunton near Yeovil. It all looks legit as I also got a load of receipts for parts bought over last few years and they contained addresses and you wouldn't hand those over if you intended to steal the vehicle back.

I've got a clutch claw on mine. Was a bit fiddly to set up at first, but once that bit's done and then you train yourself to put it on every time you leave the car unattended, it's surprising the added feeling of confidence you get. Don't think they're very easily hackable, and would probably need a disc grinder to get off. Think it's a good mechanical deterrent myself.

Nightmare for you mate. I'm still dealing with insurance after the theft of my van and work car four and a half months ago. House burgled, keys stolen

Disklock, clutchclaw, standard alarm/imobilizer as well as Cat 1 alarm/imobilizer. All means a load of keys and 2 x fobs on my key ring and trying to remember to do it all in the right order but I REALLY don't want to wake up to another vehicle not being there!! Though not much help if they break in. Moving to a new house soon and will be fitting a safe....Once bitten etc etc....

They're not as much of a deterant as you may think. A disklock will make a landy more secure than a clutch claw or similar.
