As posted on the stolen land rovers forum, my 110 XS was stolen this weekend. Registered YB65XTY and in Aintree green. Spread the word. These spineless people are finding our Land Rovers anywhere and everywhere, and yours isn't safe! Pray you are not the next victim of this despicable raft of thefts.

Sorry, to hear about that Tom!

I'll forward to a few of my friends up in WY to keep an eye out!

Pics, pics and more pics!
Have a look around Illingworth and on Ogden Moor!
I take it that the police have been informed??

Feel gut sick for you. I bet that Landy was a thing of beauty. I hope you get it back unharmed.

I'm tempted to rebuild my garage to try stop my fender getting nabbed...
Gana put as many trick switches in mine as i can think of! Hope yours finds it's way back

Bit far,
North wales. I will keep a lookout. These thieves make my skin crawl:mad:.
Very sorry for you will invest in theft protection soon.

With @ Tom58 joiniing onTuesday, having been asked for more info and pics, both on here and on the Stolen Landies freds, he seems to have disappeared after only 3 posts!
Anyone know him/her?

Still here folks. Sorry not to thank you for your support over this theft, but I've spent a long time this week posting on various sites, not to mention driving around West Yorkshire in the hope of finding the Land Rover. I suspect there's no hope, and it'll be in bits by now, or on a ship to another country. All I found was the smashed ignition barrel in the undergrowth where it had been parked, proving they certainly don't need a key to start them.
It's sickening. This vehicle was my prize possession; something I'd always wanted, saved hard for etc. And then some b**tards nick it. Worthless scum.
I will of course keep you updated if it gets recovered.

Whereabouts in the West Riding are you?
Then the search can be targeted ... especially if you give us a clue what she looks like!
What chance do we have when all we have to go on is that she's a 110 XS, (whatever that is) with Reg No YB65XTY and she's painted in Aintree green, which most of us would not be able to identify as she's 'green'!
