Well After spending all weekend trying different things im still no further forward. My 4.6 starts and ticks over just fine, as soon as the revs go to just above 2000 rpm and it gets a missfire. if i let it tick over and engage gear it does it straight away..
I have a hawkeye, so i cleared all the fault codes started her up, ran it for 5 mins turned it off, ran a test and no stored faults. Did the same reved to 1500 rpm, not faults, then reved, well tried to rev to 2500 and the dtc says Timming miss match camshaft????

Im Lost Any Ideas PLEASE????

Hi there, going to try a crack sensor tomorrow, but having read a few different threds im not convinced thats going to sort the problem.. alot of people seem to have had the same problem but they havnt said what sorted the problem.. its a GEMs engine

Cam sensor or associated wiring connectors. I would carefully inspect the ecu connectors.
