Hello again,
After having experienced a load of whiring and clanking, a visit to the garage and some great help from Landyzone, I have established I have the VCU/IRD problem going on.
To temporarily remove the issue I removed the propshaft this afternoon which has eased the problem however, there is still a bit of a whiring noise and not perfectly smooth handling, which makes me feel uneasy.
Would a damaged IRD still be causing this or should that have gone away when the propshaft was removed?
Could further damage have been caused to other areas of the car by having the VCU/IRD fault?
