Just adjust your new headunits pre-amplified output gain to suit the underseat amp.
You will need a replacement headunit with at least two 'preouts' the other one will be used for the bass unit amplifier in the back door.
do u know of such a headunit?
Sorry I don't know of any thing that's up todate but the usual quality manufacturers have models in their range with two or three preouts, they will be the mid to high-end range headunits.
ICE shops are always discounting these head units as not every one wants that high spec.
Look on the www will give you an idea of whats about also you will need a head unit that interfaces via patch lead with your steering-wheel controls most do but worth checking...Let us know what unit you choose.
My Pioneer-head unit has three preouts, high, mid range and bass, bass is the only output i'm using at the moment as i'm running a 200watt sub amp do like my bass.

so that will work? only got it as it changes colour so i can match green dash, lol so all i do is connect activate amp and then wat lol
I notice that, that also sold it for me I wouldn't want blue
So just plugs and sockets and a bit of adjustment and off u go, your manual must be like my Pioneer book 50 pages of info to read.
