Hello
my defender has power steering and it is hard to steer while driving but when i am staitionairy it is ok the power steering fluid is ok.

Thanks for the replys
this might be a stupid question but is there any other way of seeing that the lock diff is on apart from looking at the gear knob.

warning light- is it diff lock?

see that thread,you may have the same prob

i dont think that the diff light works because when i have put it in diff lock before it hasent came on.i will have a look at the other thred now thanks.

thanks for your help the diff lock was engaged would it of cause any serious damage to my diffs.

yes. that's why it has the option of being switched off!
