Hi All. I have a bit of steering wheel wobble at around 50 mph... My defender 90 has 20" range rover sport alloys with the hub conversion plates. Could it maybe be a worn ball joint, or has anyone else had any experience with this set up ?

After a bit of research on the web, it seems the cause of the problem may be the Panhard rod bushes, so i have ordered some and will get them fitted to see if it fixes the problem. Will let you all know how it goes.

i don't understand why you would want big wheels like that unless its a pimp wagon :cool2: but have you tried the obvious and had the wheels balanced.

Please put some pics up ... ;)

Why 20" wheels? They're not likely to be any good offroad ... unless you have some humongous tyres too ...

Dont really plan on using it off road, well not extreme off road. It is going to end up a pretty pampered 4x4. It's quite a head turner already... The guy i bought it off spent quite a bit of money on it. I'll put some pictures up in a couple of weeks once i have put a few touches of my own on it.
