Once you have the oem harness you then have to fit the magic box to communicate between everything.
I posted link on Matt's new TD4 I believe.
I've done this to several cars now.
You will have to find an oem steering wheel harness if there isn't one there already. Very easy job to fit. Hardest bit is getting all the wires to fit behind the head unit and get it to sit properly.

Yes it does have controls, my freelander 1 has them as standard fit

I received another email telling me they'd got it wrong lol, so waiting to hear back again so that basically connects to the wires from the stereo they also mentioned about the stereo learning tbe controls no idea on that with this chiniese manual haha

Having now played with the steroe ive found some extra setti gs and one is the steering controls
