Hello i would like to change my steering wheel for something a bit smaller its a series 2a spoked one and i want something a bit more modern and smaller any ideas or has anybody else done it??
PRICES??

Thanks a bunch

before you do that you might wanna thnk about going to the gym fer a few weeks to build yer arm muscles up.
if you do decide you can hadle the extra force needed to turn a smaller wheel you might have to swap the column fer a 111 column

I would keep the 2a spoked wheel as they are hard to find now.
I have seen a old Montego wheel on a 2a and it looked Crap.
But it is possibul and as Slob says you may neen to swap to a series 3
column.

My teapots smaller than a steering wheel. Will that do I can always get another one.

I changed mine for a Astrali wheel came with a boss and it all bolted straight on.... Metro steering wheels where a common replacement too!! I have a metro steering wheel sat in my garage at home if your interested!!!!

ah think yule find the early ones had a pinch bolt holding it on and as far as i'm aware no one does a boss/hub for that fitting. the 111's had the more normal nut on the end of the column and you should be able to get the boss for that.

very true mr slob, i swapped the one on my series 2 fer a series 3 column with a nut on the end. the pinch bolt ones are impossible to get after market wheels for

Was given a steering wheel, nice dark blue one but couldn't undo nut without major amounts of pressure and didn't want to wreck anything else so gave up.

Wait for the jokes........Major amounts..... Whos he then?????
