Hi , can anyone who has replaced this , give me a hint on the best way to remove the old bearing , behind the steering wheel , or is it just a case of levering it out with a pair of sharp scerwdrivers.
i tried and gave up in disgust - screwdrivers, chisel & big hammer - yu name it - bastid thing - it might be a complete steering box strip and I cant be arsed.
what i did was to drill a small hole in the column , about 4mm ish. just about at the bottom of the bush. you can then use a small screwdriver to lever it up enough to be able to grasp it with yer pliers
