Everytime I start the car the steering wheel drops all the way down and I have to adjust it up again. Seems like the steering tilt forgets the memory i setting.

Any tips?

Set the wheel to the required position and then save the setting to one of your keys by using the numbered buttons on the side of the drivers chair base

The problem is everytime I turn the ignition on the wheel drops all the way down, even if I save the memory settings. The seat memory works, but not the steering tilt. I have tried my spare key too with no luck. Seems like the car forgets the memory settings for the steering tilt everytime I turn the ignition off.

Get the function turned off with diagnostics, it will only break if you let it keep moving.

Only breaks if you use the wheel to lug yourself in and out of the car !

I have set mine slightly off the max extended mode so the the motor doesn't force itself to stop when it reaches the end of its cycle.

Ok, thanks. The wierd thing is that the memory works fine until you shut the ignition off and on again. Can also hear the motors running after the wheel has reached its original position when turning ignition off. Seat memory works fine. Coud it be fault with the Steering Wheel Adjustment Control Module? Is it there the memory is ''saved''?
