A mechanic friend of mine put the Landy up on rams and the was the first thing he checked was the front prop shaft which he said was very sloppy and said that could well be the problem.

Whilst the vehicle was on the rams we notice that the sills and floor were badly rusted away and it would have cost a lot of money to repair so coupled with a number of other problems I have sadly had to scrap her.

Unfortunately as it was getting late and having been held up trying to get the radius arm bushes out and the garage wanting to close the preload did not get checked, next time it goes in will get that and the prop shaft checked.
I had a look at them when i was greasing them and there did not seem to be any play in them at all, the vehicle has only done 94K since 92' so will keep an eye on them.
