Hey guys,

I've replaced everything on the steering on my lightweight apart from the steering box and still have a fair amount of play? Anyone know of any internals kits that can be bought??

i normally replace 15,16,20,21 and 19

There is an adjuster on the steering box,

Not to be over tightened or you will wear out the internals,

If your not sure how to do just ask....

if your leaf spring bushes are worn you will get axle movement which will cause it to wander.
I changed my swivels, track rods and drag link and found my s3 was still wandering....changed bushes for polys and found originals were well shot-drives straighter than a tank now.

steering box adjustment, hold centre nut with spanner and then loosen outer nut a fraction, tighten inner nut a little clockwise and then tighten outer locknut.
 
Yeah I did undo the lock nut, must have a lot of wear in to box?
Do you know if there is anywhere you can buy the internals for the box?
 
If you get somebody to turn the wheel back and to while you watch the drop arm coming out of the box....there should be no lost movement between the steering wheel turning and the drop arm moving,

If there is no play there...it must be somewhere else.
