Hi there, Just baught a 1990 def 90 from a mate goin to Saudi to work. Only problem is that he has managed to loose the keys. How easy is it to gain access into cab and remove the ignition barrel so the steering lock doesn't engage while trying to move it. Also can anyone recomend a good store/shop etc in or near dunfermline fife to get a new barrels etc.

Ps - 2004 truck cab and 2002 doors if this helps

Getyer mate tae have a better look fur the keys or call out yer friendly AA / RAC man if it's legit;):D:D
 
Nice 1, He has moved house since he last touched the def. been sitting staionary at work. At RAF Leuchars. All ligit don't worry. Can anyone recomend a decend place to get new locks etc in fife?

Aye;) If it's sittin' in RAF Leuchars, then they're should be a friendly mechanic on site that will help;)

Dunno about shops up there, but try the likes o' lrseries.com or paddocks etc;):D
 
If he contacts Landrover and then takes the v5 and ID they can do him a new set of keys. I had it done for a disco when I snapped one, cost £22
