Hi guys looking for advice on steering I have a97 disco and it has developed a wobble at speed

It feels more like a loss off steering for a split second then it returns

I cannot see any damage to any parts I recently had track rod ends replaced

Does any body have a clue

check the trackrod ball joints are tight, and thn check all the bushes, rear aframe, wheel bearings etc

Get someone to wiggle the steering wheel while you watch all the moving parts , start at the steering rod into the steering box ! Then grab the drop arm making sure it moves in time with the wiggling steering wheel !! Work along all ball joints etc , you may find any play this way!! It's not uncommon for the drop arm to come loose !!

Thanks guys

I have put a new damper on steering and all the bearings are new so I'm going to check for loose nuts and such

Red hand I'm not sure what a rear a frame is so I will have a look in my Haines manual

Thanks again

Thanks for all help

I have tightened all nuts up and had tracking done and this seem to have done the job

On to what ever comes next
