well i just took the bottom panel off the dash and a piece of white plastic fell out, after research it turns out it's the steering reach motor bracket, luckilly my wheel isn't moving at the mo but i need to get into it to fix the issue, are there any decent write ups on this? do i need to remove the lower dash facia? if so how does it come off? and i guess i need to remove the column completely to do the job are there any tips for this? i did take a quick look yesterday and access seems very limited. i have got the replacement clip to hold the motor luckilly rimmer bros had 2 in stock

Grab rail above your head!!

to the OP, there are a few write ups on the net if you gooooogle it.

Quite involved, and is a good few hours to get the column out and back again, not for the faint hearted!

hi saint yes i've found a few and access looks a right p.i.t.a to be fair i found one write up that quotes 1.6 hours, i somehow think that maybe a little wrong

Sorry for waking an old thread - does anyone know if you can still get the clips as a spare part from anywhere? Rimmers, LR and other's are drawing a blank.
