Is it some place you can oil the steering column.When the steering wheel goes in and out,it squeeks .

Just disable it before it breaks.

Yes you will need to strip out the bottom half of the dash to lubricate the bits and bobs

quite a bit of work from what iv heard. not done it myself.

If it's the same squeak as I had, it doesn't need a full strip down to get to.
