Hi Guys
Have just replaced the top bearing (not the best quality) on my steering column outer, this time i used a press to locate it (the first one failed miserably). Now the bearing is seated and free spinning..... However when i put it over the steering drive shaft it is a VERY tight fit from the moment it touches the first chamfer, Does this mean i have to tap it on to drive it down the shaft (approx 4 inches ) or am i missing something
If this is not to clear i will add a picture in the morning
thanx
