just reading an old post i put up about drifting side to side when driving.more so when on the motorway.and wanted to know if anyone can tell me how to adjust steering box to take up some of the play.thanks

Slacken off the nut on top of the box I believe its an M17 size, it has an allen socket screw in the center lightly tighten the screw untill u feel resistance and tightern lock nut it's as easy as that.
If u still have play in the box tightern the allen screw a 1/4 turn more but don't over do it otherwise the steering will be to tight.

You can some one that's never had to do it on a disco. I did it a few times on my RRC but in the end I needed a new steering box when the wear starts that's it

Ive had this problem and had about an inch of play in the steering..took it up on the steering box, fine now

I would recommend taking the drag link off when you do it as you can check the steering box for tightness after adjusting while doing a lock to lock check.
