have introduced meself and all that, so was wondering about steering boxes on aTd5 90. Mines messy. Do I buy a re-con, do some work on the old one, or buy a new ..... ??? recommendations please .....

Depends what's wrong with it really,,if you strip it down and it only needs seals it's worth DIY and refit sure you can but kits to replace internals too,they are bloody expensive new and heard some of the recon ones are dodgy.Someone who knows will tell you sooner or later
