Well, I’m going a bit loopy through lack of contact with anyone. I’ll let you know when the dog starts talking back.
I look forward to walking around the corner and getting a fresh pint of staropramen.

The good thing is, these projects keep you busy. When I’m not working I’m on it which is brilliant for the mind. Annoying I have run out of gas though! As the post service is still working I can order the bits I need mech wise so I began on that.
I’ve decided to whip head off and replace hg and give the head a refresh. I made this decision after seeing this!
Water pump wasn’t horrendous with a bit of corrosion on blades but it’s clearly in need of a bit of tlc and a new rad!

Yes mate think they come in a decoke kit. I haven’t used valve removal tool for about 8 years and can’t seem to find it so got to order a new one.
Last engine I did was a DOHC 20v on bodies - doing this has made me realize just how simple 300tdi is. Tough and built for a job! The fact that you can get head off in couple hours with no need to touch cams was lovely!
I don’t know how good the kit will be - bearmach I think but will be Elring no hole HG
