@dieseldog69 i think all those vacuum pipes we pondered over were actually part of the egr system. Every edc sensor and element are located on flywheel housing, transfer box etc. it does have a boost pressure sensor but that’s no drama. Would make a lot more sense if the above is the case. Might have a play and tidy up tomorrow
 
Coolant sensor on edc looks to be a mech sensor - I.e. an actual coolant hose. I don’t have that. I have two thin wires on a red plug. The 3 wires on the pump are what’s fitted to newer engines. Anti tamper stop solenoid. Rather than being the normal one I think this replaces the spider unit.
I think that just leaves us with the random vac hoses which look like the egr system.
I think it’s solved!
 
If this is the egr modulator valve, all makes sense. If not. Well....

Sorry I’m full of questions! The little angled bracket behind the washer bottle - this just a hose holder? Have pic of the bottle in place but not after I pulled it
 
I have a random 2 pin with a sleeve but ones cut on the wire and pretty sure I marked it with a question mark but haven’t a picture of it. Pray tell....
