Hi all, found these on the bay of e, wondering if anyone knows if they'll go on a Mk1 disco? I know its got a compatibility checker on there, but one wheel is different, and I don't trust it. Cheers!

They will fit nicely.

They will be very narrow though, they wont fill your arches at all!

I'm desperate to get some steel wheels. Hate these nasty alloys. These are 17J, Is that narrow then? What is the typical width for standard disco wheels than? Need to put my old tyres on them. Shoestring budget!

eBay listing says they're 7.5J but I would agree that certainly the 110 wheels will be narrower than that. Probably the rostyle too.

It's not necessarily the width that's the gayness though, it's the offset, of which these have lots, so they're very tucked into the arch. They're narrow on a defender, nevermimd a wider bodied disco.

You can buy a set of 8 spokes for around 50 quid, or do you need 16s?

Yes I see you need 16s, that makes finding cheap steels more difficult.

Get a set of standard disco steels.

Ok so these are rubbish then, fair enough. Thanks for the heads up. Would have been peed to buy them them fine they are all girly! As I said, I'm on a shoestring, so looking for very cheap. £50 was about all I can afford. Oh well back to hunting, and thanx all for the info!:D

Thanks for that, but that many many miles to go and collect them.

I have also just read a very interesting article here about the differences between alloys and steels. I must admit that I'd just assumed that steel were wanted for off roading, but this has prompted me to thing about keeping my alloys now...
