hi all getting myself a stearing guard are they easy to fit

Yes and no. It all depends on how easy the boilt comes out the power steering pump. It's worth giving yourself a few hours to do it in case it's seized. A hammer, drift and bottle of WD40 or plusgas are highly recommended.;)

mine took me about an hour, i replaced the bolts that hold it on for some nice new ones just incase i have to take it off in the near future!

what it cost u and where did u get it from, there on firstfours website for £6o for a steel 1

hi Jim, i bit the bullet and got a 3 piece ally one for 85 quid, cant remember where from. probably worth the extra if you can, several mates got thin steel ones and not so great for protection, hit stumps and stuff and guards completely buckled. took me literally 10 mins to fit mine, had to get it around a cellular dynamic steering damper as well, just fits no problem with the steering pump bolt at all. i guess it depends what type of guard you go for, for how long it will take to fit. good luck.

Ah got mine for £50 at me local indy in a sale. Its a two piece jobbie...
