broke down on the m6 last saturday, got chucked from lane 1 to lane 3, luckly it was at night, limped it to safer place and had it recovered, took over 8hrs to get it home
anyway, jacked it up and wheel bearing has died, and its took the stub axle with it
the inner bearing is welded to the stub, i managed to get this off with some cutting Untitled by Ste_Nova, on Flickr
then this with some more but the stub looks dead Untitled by Ste_Nova, on Flickr
from the damage on the underside of the bit i cut off it looks like the bearing has spun Untitled by Ste_Nova, on Flickr
ahh well , i washed all the bits Untitled by Ste_Nova, on Flickr
so today i started on the interior refit
first job was getting to work binning this Untitled by Ste_Nova, on Flickr
then when i needed a break from sitting in inside i made a new cubby/radio holder, it's done for now and blacked, just need to go to be trimmed Untitled by Ste_Nova, on Flickr
Im considering scrapping my middle seat for a cubby box and as mine has no radio in it at the moment I think i like the idea of the radio going in front of the cubby box more than the small console above the 12v socket.
