Just thought I would let you know that since my own experieces with starting problems with faulty electronics I have helped 4 others out by hiring out the BeCM Sync-Mate I bought and this is what the last guy said about it: -

"Got it Tuesday morning used it that night, awesome best £20 I've ever spent cheers will post back today(Wednesday) Barry"

So if you want to hire it it's on eBay under BeCM Sync-Mate. Sorry to post on here like this but it really might help someone out, like it did for Barry!

Prepare to be flamed. Landyzoners who own diagnostic equipment lend it out to other LZers for FREE.
:nospamhere:
:pop2:

Hi Gratch well if they live near me in Cornwall I would be only too please to lend it to them but to send out by recorded post to complete strangers a little tiny piece of kit that cost £120 is stupid and you know that.
All I can say is if this little gadget helps and saves someone maybe hundreds of pounds then £20 is a small price to pay or is it the fact that you sell them for £120!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Fortunatly diesels very seldom lose sync. Don't think the dragons would back your hire service.:D:D

Why do some people have to be so negative and as if I would want to make a living out of this! But what I will say is this, four very grateful P38 owners so far in just a few months tells me it's not as seldom as you say!

****in idiot. I do not own any OBD devices, nor do I sell them. Where did you get that idea from? Mind you can I rent it, £20 for a £120 piece of kit is cheap, how much do you think it will cost you to get it back off me?;)

Ok good luck. Until it gets lost in the post on the way back.:D:D

I don't think it's the worst idea, it's a bit of a risk to post it out and £20 instead of paying a garage £60 is probably worth it. It's almost paid for itself so doesn't really matter if it gets lost.

Then again I've got a mate with one so can just borrow that :D

Well a couple of you who are probably two unsavoury guys on here predicted my Sync Mate would be stolen or lost in the post and yes you were right!

But I think I had the last laugh because I got £160 in income plus a wee bit on postage so yes it has gone but I am well in profit.

Never mind guys go and annoy someone else, but to the rest thank you so much for your positive thoughts.

That's new one for me unsavoury. Never been called that before. Do you not think sensible advisor might be a better description?

If some thing is un-savoury surely that means it is sweet?

So cliffman made £40 profit (£160 minus £120 original cost of syncmate), the guy who 'lost' yer syncmate made £100 profit (£120 syncmate for £20) Bet you feel retarded now.

He was unsavourly warned. :D:D:D

I seem to have a similar problem - and was thinking of buying a syncmate. However my engine check light comes on normally. Am I correct to think that loss of sync would cause the engine check light to NOT illuminate on the DSE?
