The car will start fine from cold but then say i drive it to the garage turn it off to fill up then go to turn it on again all you hear is the relays clicking down in the passenger footwell. I have tried many things but nothing seems to make it start up staright away, it always takes about 10mins of me wiggling the relays and turning it on and off untill it starts again. Once its started again i can turn it on and off with no problem.
Was thinking it was just the relays but as it always seems to take 10mins maybe its the immobiliser or alarm.
Any opinions or suggestions welcome as tired of sitting around in petrol stations getting beeped at.
Cheers

If it doesnt crank over when mine did this needed a new starter check the small live feed to starter when it plays up next

I would getting a starter motor solenoid repair kit in stock if I were you. They only cost about a Tenner of Ebay and usually sorts things out.

the earth strap from the battery is a good place to check. the strap goes to the gearbox. Make sure it's not corroded!

my mate stu's did this. Found that the plug into the alarm unit in the foot well, had crappy contacts, cleaned it up re fitted it, never had a problem since. It was the green unit by the way
