Also has the 200tdi got a spacer behind the lift pump ??

Yes the bearmach lift pump requires a spacer. It was included in the kit.

Mmmmm can you get the lift pump off with the pipes still connected ? & if so can you move the cam leaver to see if it will fill the filter !

was there a spacer on the truck before you fitted the new lift pump ??
