Could still be the fuse box thoughHi datatek its not the relay changed it same problem thanks
They are controlled from the BECM, possibly the data field for the fogs has been corrupted and will need re-setting on diagnostics or maybe you fitted the wrong fuse box. Thanks every one for your help changed fusebox job done but lost fog lights is it the fusebox thats nocked them out thanks again.
Diagnostics I'm afraid, you need to check that the fog lights are activated in the BECM, that's assuming you fitted the correct fuse box, there are several different types. The light comes on the switch but no lights any help
You should always fit a new fuse box with the same part number as the old one, however I can't see a fuse specific to the fog lights as they are switched by the BECM. If you look in RAVE, it shows the switch which applies a ground to the BECM input when operated, there are then 2 outputs from the BECM, one for the left fog light one for the right.is the fusebox on a se the same as a hse could that be the problem with my fog lights hope some one cann help me thanks
Whilst I have no reason to question you Tony, but with the Diesel, you may have to make provision for the Gearbox oil cooler....You can fit fog lamps to any P38. SE/HSE makes no difference to fog lamps. It just maybe that the donor vehicle did not have fogs fitted and they need switching on with diagnostics.

How many types of fuse box for a p38
