Now this might sound like a really stupid question, but...

Can I stand on the roof of my fender, without damaging it?

In the long term, I aim on getting a proper roof rack, but at present I have roof bars, and need to get up to it to attach bikes to it. climbing on the roof, and doing it from the top seems like the easiest option.

Im 120 kg and I stand on mine all the time with no problems

I have in the past with no problems. I have a 110 with a smooth roof and am about 105kg and did not damage it.
There have been times when a couple of us have sat on the roof in deck-chairs to watch events with no ill effect.

Out side rib roofs are stronger.

Rips are inside on tims, I walk all over mine but my cage passes through and gives it more strength I would gess,

Tim I have a brand new rear ladder that I bought for my 1st fender and never fit.

Think I had about 6 people stood on my roof at one point in time, its absolutely fine.

Hmm, conflicting views....

And cheers Warrior, but bloody typical, I ordered one from Paddocks yesterday , saw your post late l;ast night, went to check, but they already dispatched it...
nm.

Sure ive got a lenght of walkway somwhere, I might attach that to the bars in the short term.

i stand on mine to jet wash it and I'm 6ft 3 and 18 stone.... i guess ally is quite strong lol

Call round to mine and walk on mine to see if it damages it, mine already hd a don't in every pannel inc the roof where it met a tree.

Cheers, Ill give u a shout at some point in the next week or so, in the mean time ill use a ladder
