So the beast has been stood down for the past year, SORN’d, C19 and all that. Started regularly and moved about abit on the estate (garden)! Now getting her back on the road. For the MOT, apart from a full fluid and filter change, new fuel, brake and suspension check, is there any other recommendations to check over having been inactive for a while?
Cheers.

Nipples, grease your nipples and check the extremes of the chassis outriggers etc where the mud sits and holds moisture. Give every electrical switch a try to ensure every bulb etc does what it’s meant to ;)

Apart from the props, are there any others? TD5 btw.

Was wondering about engine oils!
With such a difference in price per litre was wondering who makes the cheaper brands? is the Miller brand worth a go?

I use cheap oil and change it at least twice a year. I think you’re better changing the oil often than using more expensive oils and changing less regularly.
