I want to replace the rusted floor bolts with stainless steel ones and need some help! The ones I want to replace are the bolts in the driver / passenger footwell on my 110 Defender TDCi which hold the floor in place. They've all corroded so I'd appreciate it if some one could let me know what they are or where I can get stainless steel replacements.
Thanks in advance!

Any decent fastener supplier will do A2 or A4 stainless. Or ebay.

Look for M6 X 12 hex bolt as an example, M6 is the thread size, 6mm diameter, 12 is the thread length under the head.

You can get matching flat washers, locking washers and nuts.

You can also get original UNF bolts etc in stainless but they cost more.

Dunno about the TDCi, but on my 2006 model they're like self tapping screws that go into those square plastic block inserts at the front and spring clip spire nuts at the rear. Same applies - next time I need to take them out I'll look for a similar sized stainless jobbies to replace them with. Probably around no. 10 x 20mm size by the look of them.

Try screwfix, far cheaper than anywhere else, my local one is very good and all helpful staff, spent ages one day trying to get the right stuff......
