You have to ask, and sooner or later the owner will realise a few quid is more use than watching it rot away.
You'd think so, there's an early series 1 rotting in a field near me, owner has no interest in selling it. Last i saw there wasn't much left visible
 
Landrovers one thing but this has sat on someone’s drive in N Wales for 20 yrs & he’s been offered mega money bu won’t sell! DB5

Being a stage 1 is worthwhile enough..

Too right, probably the rarest of Series LR's.
Station wagon version would be on my wish list, but a good 'un is valuable … always assuming you can find one.
No difficult to improve on the 91 horses, restrictor plates out of the manifold for start ;)

I had a road test report in the early 'eighties, according to the magazine road performance equated to a 850 Mini of the period.
