HI guys, is it just me that doesn't seem to have any real success with the forum search options?
Just out of interest : The accepted way of extracting more poke from the original Stage One V8 is to remove the restrictor plates, but has anyone ever worked out (or obtained rolling road results) how much advantage the process is worth, bearing in mind you are still left with a LC engine. Does the surgery actually release more power/torque or does it simply move the manuf. peak output figures to a different RPM? One the same note, when LR went mad in '86 & raised the power of the 110's V8 to 134 bhp, surely just a change of carbs alone wasn't responsible for an extra 20 bhp :clap2:
