A lot have a bend on the top now instead of a flap, but still the same principle.

You will often find people with very old tractors (where the end of the exhaust has no flap/angle) leave an old tin can on the end to stop the water running down and entering the engine.

stacks might be considered to look gay by some people but its a matter of opinion

such as when theyre custom made to suit the style of vehicle and in tune to whatever engine theyre intened to be mated onto you end up with something that isnt gay
