Hi All
I appear to be experiencing a fault my my SRS Warning light. It used to come on then switch off after a short period of time. Now it just stays on continually, however periodically it will switch off for a short time then come back on. Any suggestions and what does this warning actually inform you of.

It is warning you that there is a problem with the airbags. If you get it to an independent and plug it into their computer they should diagnose the fault and either clear it or empty your wallet doing so. Unfortunately there are no quick fixes for the electronic faults

Problem now is locating independent for land rover repairs

Apart from the odd rotary coupling fault on the steering column,most SRS faults relate to low battery voltage or poor loom connections.These are easily sorted and tend not to come back.So it may not be that bad - the systems are generally well made but are very fussy in terms of fault codes/warning lamps - good job really cos they only have millisecs to work and only one chance to do it.
