I would definitely plug into a diag device to get the codes read. It will more than likely tell you which part of the jigsaw is having a problem. There's lots of different bits making up the SRS system.

The rotary coupler is the most likely cause. However this can only be confirmed with a diagnostic interrogation session.
Maybe you could have found someone local to you with a diagnostic reader since you last posted in October.
