Hi guys quick question
SRS light just appeared today. I have been pushing seats far back so think it may be the connections under the seats.
My question is, is it ok to unplug these and clean them up without disconnecting the battery. I have heard that disconnecting the battery can cause other issues.
Thanks

It's strongly recommended to disconnect the battery and let it sit for 15 mins before touching air bag related equipment/connections.
I occasionally get this if i moved the seat and am content to jiggle the wires while leaving it connected, you can move them in and out a bit which sorts of our until next time. Cycle the ignition and the self check will turn the light off

Will disconnecting the battery give me grief other than recoding the radio?

I read somewhere on here that I can just remove the SRS fuse instead of disconnecting the battery
That would be a whole lot easier

Air-Bag fuses look like F7 & F23. In theory removing these two should avoid the need for battery disconnect.
