I would not stray very far from what was fitted originally for normal use. Land Rover would have known what they were fitting and made it fit for purpose. I don't know what delphi is, but if they are original spec or equivalent quality ok. Unless of course you are changing the use such as race track and need extreme performance.

For what it's worth, I fitted the grooved solid disks with standard (Delphi) pads to my 1985 90", noticeable if slight improvement.

today contacted company that i had discs from they are sending another set of discs out and pads ... strange me thinks

Delphi are the same company as AP Lockheed. I have Paddock's drilled & slotted discs on mine, they're definitely an improvement but that could be because the old discs needed renewing anyway.

well a bit of an update yay !!! seem to be fixed i recieved a set of discs off the company same ones terrafirma cross drilled and grooved ,when i removed the rear pad goint to fit discs the pad was breaking up ,so i said enough is enough ,
went to bearmach bought delphi discs and pads all round and its nice , i learnet this with britpart many landies ago i try to steer away from britpart as i find it to be v poor quality but i know yes a price but im the opposite i prefer a quality part to last and work well .....
