So my TD6 for the first 20 minutes from cold makes a noise like a squeaky belt,
Thought I’d better check it out and make sure it’s not a pulley about to drop off,
Started at the easiest point and took off the aircon belt, noise gone.
Belt looks good but tensioner pulley has slight play,
If I hold it at the bottom I can move it maybe 2-3 mm forward and back, also it doesn’t freewheel, Just stops as soon as I move my hand away,
Seems to me that this is obviously the offending part but thought I’d ask Just in case I’ve missed something,
Compressor pulley spins freely

Yeah that was my thoughts, just wanted a second opinion
