Can anyone help me with some information?

I have an old Daihatsu F20 with saggy springs which have been re-tempered once already and lasted just a few weeks, anyway I fancy some nice freely articulating parabolics and since the series 2/3 Landys are similar size and weight to the Daihatsu and the springs seem freely available off the shelf I wondered if they could be persuaded to fit.

Would anyone be so kind as to tell me the lengths (eye cente to eye centre), widths and eye internal diameters of the front and rear springs on the SWB and LWB vehicles?

Or what would be even more convenient is a pointer to this information already on the web somewhere, I have looked pretty hard already, honest !!

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help,

Regards - Alastair.

Sorry the above request was a bit involved, what I really need to know is the length (eye to eye) and width of the front and rear springs on a 88".

Thanks to anyone who can get their tape measure out and crawl under their Landy for a few minutes, otherwise I'm off to Bearmach with my tape measure.

Regards - Alastair.

Are the 4 springs of a typical DEF 90 / 110 not all slightly different from each other?

Who knows about that?

Got some new unloaded front springs at 86cm between centres, 68mm wide bushes at the ends, but I suppose if the springs are longer or shorter, the spring shackles will take up the ajustment.
I've heard transit parabolics are possible, and you may be able to swap a few of the leaves about? -maybe find a scrappie one to try out?
