You could take a feed from the fog lights and use it to trigger a relay. But I would agree with AWP, it would be better to use main beam to trigger the relay instead.

I circumcised my bumper to increase the approach angle and used the foglight switch to switch on a pair of 8" 100 watt driving lamps (via a relay of course). I also have a pair of 6" ones that come on with main beam.

The should come on with high beam only, thats according the regulations for highway use.

I missed that bit , who would trigger spot/driving lights from a fog light circuit ?.
