Thought I’d just put this out to the wider community.

hi all.
Hope everyone is well, and keeping busy.

I’ve got some lights I want to fit to my roof rack.

I was just curious on how people have got the wiring into their vehicles. I don’t want to be drilling holes all over the place, and also want to keep it as tidy as possible.

I have a s2a with a van back.

Many thanks.

S2a!
Another hole!
If you are that particular then you would need to route through the existing loom.

I use glands where I have to pass wiring through body work. They have a rubber seal between the gland body and the vehicle, and a rubber seal that compressed against the cable as the compression nut is tightened. cheap as chips from screwfix....

Otherwise, if you have a snorkel, run the wiring down it into the engine bay and go from there...
There may be some gaps between the side and roof panels, under the door seal where the wiring may be able to be passed through but IMO, this looks crap and also potentially chafes the wires...
