Hi,

I drive my td5 90 to work every day. 20 miles each way. Runs like a treat.

If i do anything over 2hrs the clutch goes spongy and soft and I cant engage any gears. Just happened after a 130 mile trip.

If i can limp to a lay by and wait for the car to cool down clutch and gears are back to normal.

Thoughts ?

Knackered old clutch fluid?

And / or knackered flex pipe

Master, slave and flexi, then you have sorted all the easy bits at low cost.

Sounds like the clutch flexi pipe is bulging after being used for a bit. Make sure it isn't too close to the exhaust.
