Hi
I have a 97 300TDi and my speedo decides to go on strike every so often. There is no real pattern however when it stops so does the A/C, the a/c switch light stays on.

So could anyone shed some light on this thanks

Check the wiring diagrams from the Haynes manual and see what is the common circuit, if you can find the common line then you will be able to trace it back and clean connections and plugs to see if that helps.

Earth is probably my most suspected point as it can and most often is a common point for electrical systems.

Are there any other systems affected that you know of? Does there seem to be a lack of power to any other system in the car?

No nothing else is effected and they don't appear to have any common circuits the only thing is they are next to each other on the fuse box 14 and 15 but nothing else on these fuses are effected
